Booking Terms
Reservations
- All bookings require credit card details to secure your reservation
- Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of booking confirmation
- Room rates are quoted per night and subject to availability
- Special rates and packages may have additional terms and conditions
Payment
- Full payment is required upon check-in unless otherwise arranged
- We accept cash, EFTPOS, and major credit cards
- Corporate accounts available with approved credit application
- Group bookings may require advance payment or deposit
Cancellation Policy
Standard Bookings
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before arrival
- Cancellations within 24 hours of arrival may incur one night's charge
- No-shows will be charged the full amount of the booking
Special Events & Peak Periods
- Extended cancellation periods may apply during festival periods
- Group bookings may require 7-14 days advance notice for cancellation
- Special package rates may be non-refundable
Check-in & Check-out
Check-in
- Time: From 2:00 PM
- Late arrivals: 24-hour reception available
- ID required: Photo identification for all guests
- Early check-in: Subject to availability, fees may apply
Check-out
- Time: By 10:00 AM
- Express checkout: Available for direct bookings
- Late checkout: Until 12:00 PM, fees may apply
- Key return: Please return room keys to reception
Guest Responsibilities
Property Care
- Guests are responsible for any damage to room or property
- Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and enclosed areas
- Excessive noise after 10:00 PM may result in warnings or eviction
- Maximum occupancy limits must be observed for safety reasons
Conduct & Safety
- Guests must behave respectfully toward staff and other guests
- Illegal activities are strictly prohibited on the premises
- Pool area supervision required for children under 14
- We reserve the right to refuse service or request departure for inappropriate behavior
Pet Policy
Pet-Friendly Rooms: Selected rooms accept well-behaved pets with advance notice.
- Pet fee: $25 per night per pet
- Maximum 2 pets per room
- Pets must be house-trained and kept on leash in common areas
- Owners responsible for any damage or disturbance caused by pets
- Pets cannot be left unattended in rooms
Service animals welcome at no charge with appropriate documentation.
Liability & Insurance
Important Notice
- Carnarvon Motel is not liable for theft, loss, or damage to guest property
- Guests are advised to secure valuables and obtain travel insurance
- Vehicles are parked at owner's risk
- We recommend guests maintain appropriate travel and health insurance
Force Majeure
Carnarvon Motel will not be held liable for failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government actions, or public health emergencies.
Privacy & Data Protection
We collect personal information necessary to provide accommodation services and ensure guest safety. This includes:
- Name, contact details, and identification information
- Payment information for secure processing
- Preferences and special requirements for service delivery

Restaurant & Function Terms
Hot Rocks Restaurant
- Bookings recommended, especially for weekends and holidays
- Cancellation preferred with 4 hours notice
- Last orders taken 30 minutes before closing
- We cater to dietary requirements with advance notice
Functions & Events
- Function bookings require signed contract and deposit
- Final numbers required 7 days prior to event
- Damage bond may be required for large functions
- Special terms apply to wedding and corporate packages
